Ascension Catholic Community Ministry of Intercession for January 2012

Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ, for all the benefits and blessings you have given me, for all the pains and insults you have born for me. Merciful Friend, Brother and Redeemer, may I know you more clearly, love you more dearly, and follow you more nearly, day by day.

May peace and happiness be with you this New Year. Please pray the following intentions this month.

For the Holy Father’s intention that the victims of natural disasters may receive the spiritual and material comfort they need to rebuild their lives.

Missions: That the dedication of Christians to peace may bear witness to the name of Christ before all men and women of good will.

We pray that the family may be respected by all and that its contribution to society be recognized.

Lord Jesus, we pray that all nations may grow in harmony and peace.

Protect Our Holy Father, bishops, priests and deacons. Help them to be holy, loving and wise shepherds of your people.

God Our Father, protect all those traveling this winter and keep them safe.

Holy Spirit, guide all those having financial and relationship difficulties.

Jesus, comfort all who are in their final days on this earth. May they find in your presence light, happiness and peace.

We pray for and remember all those who have died this past year.

A Very Blessed New Year to you
