Feast of Saint Bruno

October 5, 2008 | 1 Comment

We are celebrating tomorrow the Feast of Saint Bruno. Tonight, at the Night Office in all 24 charterhouses around the world Carthusians will attend and sing a twelve lesson Vigiles, starting at 15 minutes after midnight and ending around 3 A.M.; and tomorrow, in Chapter, the Prior will deliver a Sermon most likely on how the life of Saint Bruno may inspire a Carthusian monk even today. God bless you all!

i keep searching for a hermitage/religious order, contemplative, of the latin rite order in the usa, for women. More on the order of the Carthusians. However i am an older woman, but i am wanting to die in the odor of sanctity, for the love of God, prayerfully not for self.
At any rate i have not located an order in the usa. i have written to a Carthusian order in another country, but they are seeking only the young.
if you know of a true tradiional order, not a pius vi, but Latin rite, i would like to know. Thanks for the time and consideration. In the Sacred Heart, mhm
