Poland Shopping Ban on the Lord’s Day Upheld

Poland’s Dziennik newspaper reports that a survey found that 75% of Polish respondents support the country’s current law against Sunday shopping. Only 11% of respondents supported overturning the ban.
Despite over 40 years of communist rule, 95% of Poles are Roman Catholic.
