Is China Being Chastised?

China’s population minister recently praised the one-child rule, which dates to 1979, saying it has prevented 400 million children from being born. - CNN, May 15, 2008
(MAY 15) CNN reported today that China’s one child policy is compounding the loss parents feel after this week’s horrendous earthquake in China.
