Benedict XVI named the new apostolic nuncio to Korea, Archbishop Osvaldo Padilla, to also be the apostolic nuncio to Mongolia.
The Filipino archbishop succeeds Archbishop Emil Paul Tscherrig, who in January was named nuncio to Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway.
