Urgent Prayer Requests and Petitions

All who post a prayer request here will be our prayers. Prayer is a way of life, a way to move through life with peace in our hearts. Prayer is a tool, which we use to build our awareness of God within and to bring ourselves closer to God. And it is this awareness of God’s presence that keeps us poised and centered in times of challenge.
You will notice your request will not automatically appear. A brother will read the prayer request, and when your post appears it means that your prayer request has been read and we will pray to Our Lord and Our Lady for intercession on your behalf. Every request posted here will receive loving and compassionate attention. Know that you are never alone.
Bear ye one another’s burdens; and so you shall fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2) We want to share your burden; we care about you and have compassion for your situation. We have people that will take your request before the Throne of God and pray for you. We expect results please let us know when you have received an answer and send us a praise report.
Be nothing solicitous; but in every thing, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7) When you pray remember to tell God the things that you are thankful for this will take you into His presence where you can experience His peace.
We ask that all who read this join us in these prayers. We also ask that when the Lord blesses you by answering your Pray your share your joy and Thanks for the Lord in Our Answered Prayers thread. God bless you all.May the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ reign within your heart!

Please pray for my family. For the miracle of conversion, for unity and for me not to lose my faith by despair. My husband has not spoken to us since March, we are expecting our third child and we are in different countries. Our children are only 3 and 2, and I fear he is contemplating separation based on his actions and silence despite past attempts to get him to talk. I dont know what to do any more. Thank you.
Please pray for me that I do not get fired, suspended or forced to retire from or leave my job. Please pray that all of my work realated duties that have been recinded (removed) will be restored and returned to me. Please pray that my co-workers will start treating me nice. Please pray that my freindship with Rosemarie will be reconciled and that Rosemarie and myself (Michael) will be happily married to each other one day.
Please pray for Sister Anne Marie who was the spiritual director of the Secular Franciscans in Humboldt Sask. who passed away Wednesday 27th at 10.00am in the morning. She was admitted to hospital a week ago and died five days later.
She died of cancer and she had had the pain for sometime…and kept it quiet…just faithfully going about her duties….not complaining. May she rest in peace and soon, very soon come to her eternal reward. She will be sorely missed. Thanking you all in advance for your prayers.
Please pray for Riccardo and me; I’m so desperate, he has not call me for some days. It is a very strange situation..I don’t want loose any contact with him. He must understand that is injuring myself. Oh my Lord, help me..change his way to think that isn’t good!
Please pray for my daughter Joelyn Fatima , that she may do well in her studies and get the required marks to follow her chosen profession , pls Jesus and Mother Mary help her , send the Holy spirit to touch her heart and mind to remember all that she studies and may she with your help excel in her studies

He is the current choir member and we as a choir are missing him too.
Please pray for his reconcilliation with God. He also broke a marriage promise with me.
That’s why I want him to return back to me as well.
Please pray God brings to a point where he sees the emptiness of a sin filled life.
Please tarry with me in prayer for the Holy Spirit to fill his heart with love for God and remove all bitterness,
self righteousness, pride and anger from his heart and that he would come to a point of true repentance.
Please pray that God would cut off all ungodly friendships ( female soul ties) that are in his life that tie him to the world
and that he would know right from wrong and choose the narrow path that leads to our heavenly father.
Please pray that God would give him a heart that yearns to do his will and his love of sin,
and worldy desires would be replaced by a passion to do the work of God and his kingdom.
Please do pray that Satan would not steal, kill or destroy this child of God who has been called by God even before he was born in his mothers womb.

Pray that Charles Sheffield will be healed of infection in his blood and his stomach will heal from surgery. He may eat and breathe again on his own. He will be healed in a way that is a spiritual inspiration to those that do not believe and in accordance with God’s will for him and others.

Please pray for my 80 year-old mother Eleanor S. Russo to accept St. Joseph Nursing Home (UTICA, NY) as her new residence. She is resisting her stay her and wants to leave. She has fallen seven (7) times with head injuries and also has only 30% heart functioning. Family members are losing hope.
ALSO pray for the end of workplace persecution for Janice Russo, a supervisor. Her employer is METLIFE Recordkeeping Division ORISKANY, NY with superior staff in AURORA, ILLINOIS. ALSO pray for Samuel L. Russo, Jr. his employer is Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) UTICA-ROME, NY.

Please help me Lord. The hostility that is coming from my husband can be unbearable at times. He is at the stage once again where all these events are coming up one after the other, and with or without me he is going to attend them. Please remove this and break it once more. Let my husband think as the other half of a unit and remove the desire for socializing from his life. I have prayed for my husband to give up drinking and liming especially without me, Please answer my prayer today. Please let my husband really love me today more than ever like he said to me a few weeks ago. Show him what life would be like without us once more and give him the conviction that he NEVER wants to lose us, NEVER wants to be separated from me again and REMOVE divorce from our lives forever. Please give my husband Kevin a renewed committment and love for me and the marriage soon. Let him be certain of what he wants and let it be me. Let him stay. Let him want to show me that he is committed to me and the marriage, and give him the humility that is needed for our marriage to move forward in Jesus and be good soon once more.
Please pray for my brother Felipe. He is suffering from Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. Despite several sessions of chemotherapy he has been unable to achieve remission. Today we found out that he is in remission. He is to undergo a bone marrow transplant and it is imperitive that he be in remission for this. Praise to our loving Father who made this happen. It is a time of thanks but we must also pray that the bone marrow transplant scheduled for two weeks from now is successful in eradicating the cancer from his body. Our loving Father has touched many lives through my brother’s illness. We pray that his health be restored.
Please Lord touch my husband Kevin tonight. Let my words to him tonight reach him in a positive way so that he is sure that he wants this marriage. Remove the anger, resentment, hostility and evil that is tearing us apart. Heal my husband Kevin tonight I humbly beg. Thank you for answering my cries so far and those to come.
Please St. Joseph help my daughter and her family to sort the problem out about the mortgage of their new house. They did not realize that they had to pay an extra £5,000. Please let this be an error and they will not have to pay it.Also heal my osteoarthritis. Don’t let me have to have any hip surgery at any time.

Please my husband has fallen into those habits which caused division between us and eventually a breakup. Please remove the bad influences of his friend, give him back the desire to be home or anywhere with me and remove all dangerous situations, thoughts or acts which can lead to infidelity. My son has a breast nodule. Male breast canser runs in our family. He is 27 years old with a one year old son. Please pray this is a benign nodule.

He has not worked for 6 years. He and his wife spent these past 6 years on drugs. I think he may have stopped the drugs and is now sinbcerely looking for job(it is hard to tell, he lies well), but it is hard for him to find someone who will give him a chance after being out of work for so long. His wife does some prostitution.
I think my brother is suffering from severe depression. He, his wife, and three kids are on the verge of being homeless. He just recently sold his house. The house was so trashed that they made absolutely no money selling it.
And most of all he needs the Lord in his life. They stopped going to church, and one of their daughters was never even baptized, although they are Catholic.
Please pray for a miracle to happen in his life. Either his wife must repent or he must get himself and the kids away from her. He must take responsibility for his life. He must find a job - any job. And most of all, he needs to turn to the Lord.
St Jude please pray that I may concieve a healthy child.
Please pray for me that I may receive assistance in saving my house from foreclosure sale by the bank.
Please help, save my marriage today. I pray that my husband receives healing and conversion soon,That we are again best friends, That he WANTS to come home to us early everyday, That he learns to balance his work, studies and our family life which suffering now, he comes home late from work, eats his dinner & goes to bed with virtually no interaction with us because he is so tired from work. Please REMOVE this today. Remove Raj, KP, Katherine and all others who are pulling him away from me and us. Replace it with a longing in his heart for me his wife and our family. Show him how to put us first before career, friends and activities. We are asking for prayer, please offer Holy Mass, for the Christians and Catholics in Peshawar, in the northern part of Pakistan. The Christians there have been told (by the political party in majority) to convert to Islam in 10 days or else face death. Many of them fled their homes and went to Bishop Tony Lobo in Pindi. He is taking this very seriously, however the police and authorities are often useless. Please pray for our Christian brothers and sisters in that part of the world.
The faithful of the Diocese of Anyang in China ask prayers for the prevention of the destruction of the sanctuary of Our Lady of Mount Carmel by the Chinese government. “We ask all our brothers and sisters in the Lord to pray for us and spread our message to all the faithful of the world.”
Please pray for the Prieto family. Daniel 25 years old and only son of the Prieto family died in a car accident two weeks ago and the parents and family are suffering very much. Please ask that Christ help them and give them Daniel’s soul peace and also the parents’.
Muslim villagers armed with bricks and wooden clubs savagely beat 10 Christian converts in Nilphamari district, Bangladesh, on Tuesday (June 26) and threatened to burn down their homes if they did not leave. Please pray for the safety of these converts, as well as all persecuted Christian converts around the world.

Please pray God for a blessing of spiritual healing and rekindling of love for two lost souls that love and care for each other but obstacles and hearsay got in the way of their happiness. May Boyd and Rhonda rediscover the love, passion and trust, respect and forgiveness, also the willingness to start over with no fears. Both aren’t happy apart and pray to God that no one or nothing will ever take the place of their love and that they become the best couple deep deep in love as soul mates. Pray that no one takes this love away from them and little by little that they glance, smile and learn to love each other again. Ask the most Holy God to heal them, build them again and teach them to look into each’s eyes for love, forgiveness and to see each other engraved in both of their hearts.. They have a wonderful family together and a new baby together, pray Boyd will remember the love he saw when he seen his baby for the first time and it will linger unitl he comes homes and want to rekindle and share the love. I ask for prayers, i have just been heart broken by my long time fiance who i was about to get married to in a few months to come. I write this out of hopelessness. I know you are probably a coordinator for prayers, or perhaps a priest that might care. My family is in disarray, and is being destroyed. My wife who I love with all my heart is divorcing me and has lost her way. WE have two beautiful boys sent from heaven above, I have prayed day and night for their return. Padre Pio has always been a part of my life, but I have lost hope. It has been two years since the proceedings started and I think the divorce has been staved off by prayer. I can tell you this their was no reason for this to happen. My Family was not plagued with drugs , alcohol, fighting, nothing that would warrant such action.

I need your help in so many ways with this. I really, truly want & pray for Rob’s true conversion & sanctification of heart, soul, mind, body and spirit. I ask that by Christmas of this year, Rob will open up to our Lord’s graces and cooperate with our Lord & the many gifts our Lord has in store for Rob. For Rob to accept our True God, the Holy Trinity, as his one & only true God. Please help me pursue in my prayers for his conversion, that I don’t tire of praying for his sanctification. Through Your Immaculate Heart, St. Joseph’s prayers and intercession, St. Padre Pio’s prayers and intercession, St. Therese of the Child Jesus intercession, St. Monica, St. Augustine, Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael, and Archangel Gabriel; Rob will have the desire to start going to the chapel with me starting with 10 min moving eventually to a full hour & have the desire to start attending Mass with me being faithful to the sacraments, going to confession weekly, participating in receiving the true Bread of Life. That Rob & I will start to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary together as a family. For the true repentance of Rob’s soul, that he will participate in going to confession by Easter of 2008 and partaking in the novena of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in 2008.
I ask, through Your Immaculate Heart and Jesus’ precious blood, we are protected from the satanic, demonic and evil forces that are chaining & binding our hearts from uniting to our Lord and to You. For Rob’s and my heart and soul to be cleansed of pride, so we are able to understand & submit ourselves to God’s will in our lives – relying on Him in all aspects of our lives. For Rob’s immediate acceptance of the virtues & graces of purity, chastity, love, fidelity, & obedience to in his heart & soul. Through Your Immaculate Heart, St. Joseph’s prayers and intercession, St. Padre Pio’s prayers and intercession, St. Therese of the Child Jesus intercession, St. Monica, St. Augustine, Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael, and Archangel Gabriel, Rob is healed of his addiction to pornography, erotica, lust, sins of the flesh, lies, deceit, satanic music, alcoholism, and everything not pleasing to God. Please help him to be healed by the feast of the Holy Family on January 1, 2008.
For the removal of all people in our lives who are not pleasing to God & would lead us away from God. For Khrissy to be removed from Rob’s life permanently - for she is married to someone else – even though she is divorced, she’s married in the church’s eyes. Khrissy too deserves happiness, please repair the love & rekindle the love between her and her ex-husband, for their daughter’s sake. There are people I don’t think should be in Rob’s life – Doug, Jami, Steve, John, and any of the other people you feel shouldn’t be in his or my life – please remove them immediately. For Rob in his photography efforts, keep his skills to clothed people. Please keep us both safe from the temptations of developing friendships with people who aren’t pleasing to our Lord and would pull us in the wrong direction.
Help Rob & me to reconnect in a true, pure love that is blessed by our Lord. Please bring us back together by Christmas of this year, 2007. Please soften our hearts towards each other, instilling forgiveness & love in it. – fixing the problems in our relationship, keeping satan away from us, since satan is trying to keep us apart. For the fire of love to be re-instilled & re-ignited in our hearts towards each other; with a desire in our hearts only to be reconnected with each other and only wanting each other. Please place this in his heart. Please show us the wrong we’ve done to each other & how we have hurt each other, promising to forgive each other, being truly sorry, so we don’t hurt each other like this again. Instill love & peace in our hearts so that we have years of laughter, happiness, joy, and peace with each other. Help Rob to know I truly love him and won’t throw the past in his face. For Rob to tell me he love’s me & will never cheat on me again, & I will always love Rob & never cheat on him.
That God will allow impotence in Rob’s life until he is married to me, so he can’t sin against the flesh. Please help us keep our love, eyes, ears, heart, mind, body, spirit, focused on our Lord first, and then on each other. For the Holy Family to be our model of love, faith, & hope in our relationship to each other – teaching us how to be a family together, where we will go to each other for all our needs, trusting each other without a doubt, confiding & depending on each other. For the Holy Family to teach us how to communicate, understand, respect, listen to each other, to be faithful, fidelic, loving, caring, supportive, kind, open, honest, honoring, cherishing, developing each other & best friends toward each other, basing our love on Our Lord and imitating the Holy Family in good times, bad times, sickness, health, hardships, etc. to death do us part. Teach us how to be a family giving to each other without selfishness, talking, laughing, being happy, sharing our dreams and desires. That the Holy Family will always lead us to our Lord for guidance in all our daily dealings with each other, our families, our children, and other people in our lives. For St. Joseph to teach Rob to be a wonderful spouse to me and for You to teach me to be a wonderful spouse to Rob.
That Rob & I are engaged in 2008 and married in 2009, unless it is our Lord’s will for us to marry in 2008. For us to marry in the Church with God’s blessing. If God blesses us with children we raise them to love God & follow His will. We will consecrate our children to Your Immaculate Heart and to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. That our Lord’s Precious Blood is poured over our love, relationship, marriage, children, house, work places, protecting us from all evil, demonic, & satanic forces.
That St. Padre Pio & St. Therese the Little Flower will continue to keep us as their spiritual children, healing us and bringing us closer to our Lord. If it is God’s will, somehow get us to Medjugorje by June of 2008.
Mother Mary, I’ve waited 11 years to be with Rob. I’m getting old and wont’ be able to have children. Please intercede that our Lord’s plans come about sooner. I’ve offered my life as a sacrifice for Rob’s true conversion/sanctification I accept it with joy; I know He accepted my sacrifice. I also asked our Lord to allow me to give me three hours of His pain from his passion, as a sacrifice for Rob’s conversion and to bring us back together immediately. I know I can’t accept more than three hours right now, because I’m not strong enough. Mother Mary, I don’t know what else to do. I miss being with Rob so much it hurts and I truly want his conversion. I really need Your’s and St. Joseph’s help. Please look kindly upon my request & help me/us immediately. Please don’t make me wait any longer to be united with Rob forever in love, trust, fidelity, and marriage. My husband is having a tough time in the office. Some ex-employees are sabotaging the company in order to destroy the owner. There is no money to even pay salaries. There has been no billing for the past 6 months- no candidate closures though all are working hard - 13 to 14 hrs per day and even on weekends. Some spies are in the office and they are leaking out vital information. My husband and boss are working very hard but nothing is ok. Please pray that Jesus changes the situation miraculously and at least 20 candidates are closed by December 17th and money should be paid immediately by all clients so that there will be enough money for expenses and as savings. Please pray for my husband’s mental health - he has started not eating properly and gets depressed fast. So many families are dependent on these salaries. Please ask Jesus to destroy the troublemakers and remove them from the office. Thank you.

Dear Bro or Sis, I was in the same situation last year. I had no one to go to. The H.S. instructed me to trust totally on Him. I made a commitment to God that I would do His will not knowing that it would bring me to that place where you are. I turned to Him and He showed me the way. I had to depend on Him and Trust that all His promises He never breaks. Brothers and sisters in Jesus, my wife of 30 yrs has filed for divorce. She is involved in very serious infedelity with a multi millionare 2x divorced man who has had many loose woman staying with him . He has promised my wife a very big salary to work for him . Both of them have lied to me when asked about their relationship and my wife has lied to both our daughters in spite of all the most concrete evidence that i have against them. My wife has lied to me and reacts like all people involved with this horrible act. I love my wife -God gave her to me and there is no way that i want to braek my vows. Because of all the stress i am guilty of verbally abusing her . She has repeatedly assured the girls that she is not involved but evidence denies that fact and conversations with her new companion. I want her back but money and his charm have been successfully wooed her from me. She is a very indecisive person and is very easily influenced She also comes from a home that suffered a broken relationship. She is now going to live on the same premises as this man. She has left home and left all security and now he can manipulate her as she is totally dependant on him and totally vulnerable to all his advances. I always thought that her moral standards were very high. She has been an intercessor ,prayer partner,has been very involved, born again ,spirit filled speaking in tongues,baptised,reads many christian books and has now turned into a liar and deceiver who is extremely neg and is always finding fault. Has always critisized other people in similar affairs most severely. I do not think that she is involved sexually but will be under severe pressure when she stays on the farm with him. I am terribly concerned about my wife and love her dearly irrespective of a very difficult time with her and am prepared to forgive her on condition we both go for councilling and deliverance. I am also a farmer but not wealthy as he is . My wealth is in the lord and have also sanctified myself She will not speak to me although I have warned her about this man but insists there is nothing .I have evidence of 60 sms in 25 days up to 9x a day ussually after a friday afternoon , all hours of the day at all places . She is 52 yrs old is a beautiful well kept lady and is very elegant, i have allways made her feel good and have always tried to make her happy but continuous comparisons and belittling in front of people has led to a lot of ugly verbal abuse from me . When im ask why she does these things to me she says she likes to see me angry. this is a very sad affair and i am very sore and concerned. please pray and intercede for us
Just wanted to update you on Dick S. recent problems.
He’s been struggling with pneumonia for a couple weeks and the nursing home FINALLY decided he needed to go to the ER Friday morning.
We’ve come close to losing him again, and he’s still not out of the woods. He’s resting comfortably and breathing more easily in ICU. His coloring is better and he even ate a little dinner this evening.
They did a CT scan of his lungs for the pneumonia and have a lot more tests to run for the heart. He has aortic stenosis and will eventually have to heart surgery. He’s overwhelmed and very depressed. Please keep him in your prayers.
I am suffering from autoimmune problem, i.e. inflammatory bowel disease for the past five months. Due to this problem I am at home and cannot work. Please pray for me to be healed completely and totally. I want to go back to work as soon as possible.
Please pray for my husband’s health and safety. He has a condition which leads to some vertigo attacks so I am especially praying for his safety while driving and traveling–for his benefit, ours and all others on the road too. Please also pray that I can be a loving and supportive wife in this regard, rather than fearful, controlling or nagging. Thank you for your prayers!
