DALLAS, Texas – Benedict XVI appointed Auxiliary Bishop Kevin Farrell of Washington, D.C., as bishop of Dallas. The 59-year-old prelate succeeds Bishop Charles Grahmann, 75, who stepped down for reasons of age.
