Bishop Appointed for Youngstown, Ohio

Benedict XVI appointed Bishop George Murry to head the Diocese of Youngstown, moving him from the same post in the Diocese of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.
The Vatican press office announced the change today.
The 58-year-old bishop succeeds Bishop Thomas Tobin, who now heads the Diocese of Providence, Rhode Island.
