Blessings on Advent

November 30, 2006 |

We wish you a blessed and meritorious Advent –We pray that all of you will receive the greatest of blessings from the tiny King who shivered in the cold, prickly straw in Bethlehem on the most glorious night since the beginning of the time.

Meditate on the words of Mother Mariana entering upon her last Advent on this earth….

“…Let us take advantage of these days of my fleeting presence to be united together in the love of God, in the generous oblation of our lives that we give to Him and prepare our hearts to receive to the Infant Jesus. Already we know that our community must be dressed in our best garments to celebrate the Birth of the Lord, adorning the manger of Bethlehem with the light of virtues, with the straw of mortification, with the delicate purity of the angels, with the joy of the shepherds and with the delight of Mary and Joseph - each one of us in humility, desiring to improve ourselves through the faithful fulfillment of the Divine Will.’
